Whats the difference between an Intrusion Alarm and a Burglar Alarm System?
There really isn’t much difference, other than who typically uses the terminology. Residential and low end alarm companies often refer to burglar alarms as “burg” “burglar” or “burglar alarm”, where as the systems integrators that specialize in higher end systems, integrated systems and custom systems refer to them as “intrusion alarm systems” or “intrusion detection”, but they are both the same. You may find that the intrusion alarm is a higher end version of the same brand being presented to you as a burglar alarm.
