There are only two differences in the disposer and neither one has to do with the motor or it’s performance. The 3-bolt has all stainless mounting components and the EZ mount is plastic and aluminum. Neither one is better than the other. They are both very durable mounting systems. The EZ mount has a removable splashguard and our 3-bolt has a hush cushion and is not removable. This is solely a customer’s product preference.
