What’s the difference between an affiliate museum group, such as The Junior Associates, and a membership level?
A membership level is a category of giving to MoMA rather than a cohesive group. The higher the category of membership you choose, the more benefits you get, building off of the benefits of the level below you. An affiliate museum group, on the other hand, is an auxiliary group that supports and is supported by the Museum and participates collectively, such as having a schedule of events designed specifically for it. To be a member of an affiliate group, you must be a member of the Museum, joining at least at an entry-level membership category, although you may choose to join at a higher level of membership.
