Whats the Difference Between an Acura RSX Type R and Type S?
The Acura RSX Type R is the high performance version of the RSX. The R stands for race, while a Type S stands for sport version. While these two cars are quite similar, there are differences. The R has a slightly bigger engine, 220hp versus 200hp. The suspension in the R version is race tuned and extremely responsive. It has a strengthened frame and is lighter than the S version. Other performance upgrades include the brakes and higher gear ratios. The Type R is highly sought after by street racers and they can be hard to find in good condition.
