Whats the difference between aims, objectives, and intended learning outcomes?
Aims are the general intentions of any teaching activity. They are usually written as 2 to 5 broad statements, which capture the essence of a programme/course. Objectives are used less frequently than in the past and have been incorporated into intended learning outcomes, which are statements that predict what students will have gained as a result of learning.
