What’s the difference between Acute Rehabilitation and Subacute Rehabilitation?

0

Acute (hospital) level inpatient rehabilitation is appropriate for patients with a rehabilitation diagnosis, who will benefit from an intensive, multidisciplinary acute rehabilitation program. The patient is expected to make significant functional and/or medical improvement within a reasonable time frame. Patients receive up to three hours of therapy. Therapy is provided on both a one to one and group basis, depending on the needs of the individual patient.
