Loving someone is actually caring about what they want and being willing to commit to them and do anything for them.

They usually go hand in hand. When I am in love with someone, I get jealous of them. Jealousy is often caused because we care about someone; we do not have to love someone to be jealous of them but we definitely need to care about them to a certain degree. And by care, I do not mean affection necessarily; I mean giving them our attention because we compare ourselves to them and subconsciously or not, want to compete with them and prove ourselves better. So, while love and jealousy go hand in hand most of the times, jealousy can exist without love as we all know it, whether the romantic love or the platonic, innocent love. Jealousy can happen between enemies, after all!
