Whats the difference between abridged and unabridged audio books?
While sourcing your audio books you will come across two formats, abridged audio books and unabridged audio books. An abridged audio book has basically been edited to make it shorter in length. An unabridged audio book is the full length, un-edited version. Most people prefer the unabridged, as this version offers you more bang for your buck. Each title will clearly state whether it is the unabridged. If it does not state “Unabridged” then expect it to be an abridged version. It is advisable to always check this before you purchase.
