Whats the difference between a Promoter and a Host?
Promoters are responsible for bringing people into the club with guest lists and passes. Their job is to get a line formed outside the club and get the dance floor packed. A host’s job is to sell bottle service. A “VIP Host” is usually an independent contractor and works solely off fees and tips. We called and you didn’t answer! Hey, it’s a crazy 24-hour town and this is a crazy 24-hour business. Forgive us if we fall behind on the rare occasion! But don’t worry, if we did happen to miss your call, text or e-mail, we usually begin responding by noon Pacific Standard Time every day. Sometimes, however, we don’t get to them until 2 p.m. or so. Again, remember that text messages get the fastest replies, voicemail, the slowest. If you need to contact us at night, please text us, as we’re often in the clubs, hosting groups.
