What’s the difference between a local Greek organization and a national Greek organization?
Greek organizations that are defined as “national” or “international” in nature are groups that have many chapters all over the country or world, a central headquarters to their organization, and a common, shared set of values between all chapters of the organization. Greek organizations that are “local” in nature, such as all of the groups at Pacific University, do not have multiple chapters around the country. They are defined by their independence from national organizations and rooted connection to their home university. You will not find other chapters of Pacific University’s Greek organizations anywhere else in the world.
