A. Holly Jean quilts have a top, wadding, backing and binding. The wadding (middle layer) is made from 100% cotton. Holly Jean quilts are made up of between 30 and 150 carefully hand cut pieces of rectangles and squares or just squares, then sewn, pressed, pieced, and machine quilted for strength and longevity. The binding (border) is hand sewn to achieve a gorgeous smooth finish. Numerous hours are spent making each individual quilt.
