Whats the difference between a formulator and a supplier?
In the context of CleanGredients, suppliers are companies that produce base chemicals (surfactants, solvents, chelants, fragrances, etc.) that are sold for blending in formulations. Formulators are companies interested in sourcing environmentally superior ingredients for inclusion in their formulated cleaning products. A “formulator” subscription allows one to search the database, whereas a “supplier” subscription allows one to list ingredients in the database.
