A financial advisor typically offers financial advice to both individuals and corporations. A typical financial advisor could offer individuals guidance on trust/estate planning, investments, etc… They would meet with clients on an individual basis and recommend scenarios based on unique wants and needs. A financial advisor needs to know the products and services their company offers that would best be utilized by an individual or corporation. A financial analyst typically works behind the scenes to provide the advisor the financial data he/she needs in order to offer the correct product/service to the customer.
