Whats the difference between a dental hygienist with an associates degree and one with a bachelors degree?

I have an associate’s degree, but I’ve heard from other dental hygienists that you often will get the same job and same pay even if you have a bachelor’s degree. I can assume that you would be much more knowledgeable about DH with a 4-yr. degree, and some nice dentists would probably pay more, too! Most DH jobs that are out there (at least in our area – WI) are not full-time, so you don’t get benefits anyway. The one benefit I can see is that a dentist would probably hire you over someone else with just an associate’s degree.
