What’s the difference between a concrete/ shotcrete pool and a vinyl pool?

A concrete pool is a special type of concrete which is sprayed with compressed air onto a rebar steel cage which is backed by formwork. This is a very durable pool investment. The finish of a concrete pool is a coating of plaster which can come in a variety of colours with a ceramic tile band at the water line. A vinyl pool consists of galvanized vertical steel walls which in turn have a vinyl liner draped off them. At Alka Pool we build concrete inground pools because we know they last.
