Whats the difference between a Ceilidh and a barn dance?
As far as AD2000 are concerned, the main difference is how formal the occasion is. We’re more likely to wear smart clothes, maybe tartan to a Ceilidh, but jeans to a barn-dance! As a band AD2000 sees its ministry as providing contemporary praise and worship music for all sorts of services and events. Its mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to people today through the music of today. AD2000 don’t charge for playing worship music and leading worship; in order to fund the ministry we play for barn dances and ceilidhs. This funds travelling and the expense of buying and maintaining the equipment we use.
