Whats the difference between a bass drum and a double bass drum?
A bass drum is a standard part of the percussion section in any orchestra or band. It provides the deep bass beat. A double bass drum can be two drums together, are a drum with a double pedal, with each side worked independently of the other. Double bass drums are complicated to use and require a lot of coordination. These are mostly found in different types of jazz or heavy metal music.
