Western offers a B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) which embraces a broader liberal arts background. A B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Arts) focuses more on pre-professional training and less on an all-encompassing liberal arts education. WWU’s Theatre Arts Department offers a B.A. because we feel a liberal arts education produces more well-rounded artists and theatre practitioners.
