Whats the Demand for Arabic Teachers?
Dear Dora, I have a question for you. My daughter is graduating from the university this spring with a major in English and political science. She is now thinking of going into education. She has two years of Arabic at the college level; 10 credits. She has become quite interested in the language. Do you know what opportunities there are to teach Arabic in schools – information that I could pass on to her? It is something that I know she would like to pursue. Her college has just added a third year of Arabic education, and she would further her studies in Arabic if she thought there were schools in the country that are looking for Arabic teachers.
