Whats the deal with the stats/charts/play counts?
Currently stats only show how many times the songs have been played, both that particular day as well as overall plays on that page. This also includes plays of your music that appear on fans’ people pages. We do not count how many times your page has been viewed, though we’re working to offer more types of stats on all three networks. The indiecharts list the top 100 played songs on the site, as well as the top 25 downloaded (purchased) songs on the site. These are cumulative numbers, though in the future we will be offering charts based on weekly or monthly, not cumulative stats. Recorded plays are associated with individual song files. For this reason if you delete a song from your page you will also delete those plays from your total and that song from the charts. Lost stats cannot be recovered, so please keep this in mind before deleting song files from your account. Plays by the artist who uploaded the music will be excluded when calculating play totals.
