Whats the deal with the reruns on Fridays?
Stock Gumshoe has always been a free site, but from the beginning we relied on the support of the “Stock Gumshoe Irregulars,” paying members. As extra inducement to get folks to support the site I provide some additional commentary on the special members-only site, but I was having trouble keeping up and felt that the Irregulars were getting short shrift — so about a year after launching the Irregulars site I started the Friday File with a new article of some kind each week, just for the Irregulars. I couldn’t commit to making certain to get two new articles published every Friday, so the Friday free articles that I share in the Daily Update are often republished material, older Friday File articles that free subscribers wouldn’t have seen, or guest commentaries.
