Whats the deal with the mysterious screeching sound when Sadako kills someone?
This mysterious screeching sound is Sadako’s prototype cursed recording. It occurs in two places: in a part of the recording of a rehearsal of the play where Sadako was to play the main role – the sound appears in the moment when Sadako killed Aiko, and in the part of the recording of Shizuk’s ESP demonstration where Sadako killed the reporter – the sound appears in the moment when Sadako killed the reporter. Of course, the sounds were produced by Sadako, when killing a person, either the reporter or Aiko, and everyone who heard them, later died of heart failure – which is exactly the same thing that 30 years later happened to those who saw the cursed video.
