The completely shown mirror-switching scene actually explains that this scene, previously known for being the second scene in the Ring (1998) cursed video, was a scene that really happened in Sadako’s life. Anyway, the scene has the following story. Shizuko was going insane because of having been branded a charlatan and a fraud at her ESP demonstration, so she used to stand in front of that mirror and brush her hair, for literally hours. One day, Sadako, in search of her attention, approached her and, as a childly prank, switched the mirror position some times (only one time shown in the cursed video). Back to the top.
