Whats the deal with the character journals?
Character Journals function in a similar manner to Tom Riddle’s diary in Chamber of Secrets. The journal itself is a physical book that students use a quill to write in and they can carry it with them anywhere. a.) All Hogwarts’ student/professor journals are linked. Make sure to mark things as [Private from whatever house] (and etc.) if you don’t want everyone in Hogwarts to read your character’s entry. b.) Family members and friends have linked journals. For example: Katie Bell, Harry Potter, The Weasley Twins, Angelina Johnson and Oliver Wood would all be linked because they are buddies from playing quidditch together. c.) Certain characters (Rita Skeeter, Weasley Twins) may have “cracked” the password to the Hogwarts journals and so have public access (except for anything hexed private). If you think your character needs access to ALL the Hogwarts journals, ask a mod. If we agree with you, we will allow your character access.
