Whats the deal with the baby that Sadako clutches when shes about to kill Ryuji?
When Sadako appears to Ryuji in his death scene, she’s clutching a baby. But it’s never mentioned that this baby is the same one from the cursed video. This baby in Ryuji’s death scene could be a representation of the curse itself. This would also explain Ryuji’s line, “It’s your child, isn’t it.”. What Ryuji asked was basically “The curse is your child, isn’t it.”. It’s possible because the curse basically is Sadako’s child. Also, Kanzenban was probably made after the Rasen novel was out. So all child-related parts of Ryuji’s death scene in Kanzenban could be a nod to Rasen, where And Mitsuo clearly states that “Sadako wasn’t able to have a child, so she made a child of her own in a different way,” and this child being the virus, 7 parts smallpox and 3 parts Sadako’s DNA.
