Whats the deal with drink boxes (TetraPaks, aseptic containers) and polycoat (milk cartons, paper cups, ice cream tubs)?

The deal is thus: although they can be recycled in some municipalities, the City of Guelph did not until recently have an active market for them, and so did not encourage the University of Guelph to collect them with the recycling. Although the City of Guelph lists polycoat as a Dry (recyclable) item, the approach at the university is geared towards eliminating contaminating factors from the recycling stream. If clean juice boxes and milk cartons are placed in a recycling container, they will not cause the load to be garbaged. All other polycoat is considered unacceptable due to low to non-existant marketability.
