What’s the DDRT (Deschamps Defueling Rubber Tank)?
In recovery, time is MONEY, especially when you have to defuel 300,000 litres of kerosene very quickly. With the Deschamps Defueling Rubber Tank (DDRT), recovery operations can start while contaminated fuel is safety stored away from the aircraft. Made of heavy duty rubber and vulcanized, the DDRT is rapidly installed and allows quick defueling of the aircraft. Airports often do not have the necessary resources to defuel and store a large amount of contaminated fuel. For safety reasons, the rubber tanks are equipped with a bund liner. In the case of the A 380, two 150-cbm rubber tanks are recommended. In use for 30 years in military applications, our collapsible rubber tanks are safe and easy to install. DDRT are available with a capacity from 1 cbm up to 300 cbm, Finally, they are provided with all necessary accessories such as pumps, hoses etc…
