Whats the coolest tourist attraction to go to in New York City?
There’s not much in the way of ecotourism in NYC that I’m aware of. It’s a big city. I mean BIG! Like nearly eight times as big as Auckland. There’s Central Park, but that’s just a great park (definitely worth seeing), not exactly “ecotourism.” And sure, New York is on the waterfront, but it’s a busy industrial port kind of waterfront (though the Staten Island ferry is worth riding for the view of the city skyline). No, when you go to New York, you go for what it has to offer, not for what New Zealand is known for. I’m sure you won’t find anything close to the amazing ecotourism stuff you guys have down under (I’ve been there, and it was awesome). If you’re conservative and not keen on taking risks, then you probably don’t want to go up the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty, two big tourist traps, I mean attractions. You might not give a hoot about Ground Zero, which is one of the things people like to see in NYC these days. But New York is known for its entertainment (Bro
