Whats the controversy over the skids and mudflaps characters in the Transformers movies?
The sequel brings in $16 million after the first night, but many did not approve of the movie. “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, directed by Michael Bay, generally did not get good reviews. Among the many terrible reviews of the movie, Peter Travers for Rolling Stone wrote that it is a “hunkajunk,” due to Bay “telling a story with … striking, shrieking incoherence. “I know there are still 17 months to go, but I’m thinking Transformers 2 has a shot at the title Worst Movie of the Decade.” Many of the reviews included disgust with twin robots Skids and Mudflap, who speak slang to each other, because of their stereotypical nature.
