Whats the connection between the Experimental College and the University of Washington?
Experimental College classes are sponsored by the ASUW (Associated Students University of Washington), the student government at the U.W., and most Experimental College classes are held on the Seattle branch of the U.W. campus (in the “University District” in Seattle). However, the classes are not accredited. Students signing up for Experimental College classes do not receive college credit. Instructors are independent contractors, not U.W. employees. Are the classes only for U.W. students? Or can anyone sign up? They’re open to everyone. You don’t have to be a UW student to attend. In most classes, most of the students are general public, not U.W. students. What is the age range of the students in the classes?
