Whats the cheapest way to increase the horse power on triton 5.4 in a 2006 f150?
cheapest way? hp isnt cheap but one of the best ways to free up some hp and even help with gas milage is to install an electric fan. then the exhaust (catback or even better headers then run true duals long tube headers might get you about an extr 20 hp shorties will only drain your wallet)you could put a cold air intake on but aside from the engine sounding better i dont think add any hp. then theres the hand held tuners for gas engines they dont do much in the hp area but they do let you change shift points and firmness raise the speed limiter and if you get bigger tires they let you reprogram the spedo.honestly since you already have a 5.4 save up a few (alot)bucks and throw on a supercharger or go to f150 online.com read thru the forums and if you read about some parts the best place to get them would be troyerperformance.
