This is not the cheapest way But it is the fastest and the way that I would do it *Take the Flushing bound # 7 subway to the 61st Woodside stop. You can take either the express or the local .The express will save you about 5 minutes You will need to buy a $2.00 single ride MetroCard to pass thru the turnstiles http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/nyct/service/se… *When you get to Woodside go down 1 level , exit the subway and look for either the Long Island Rail Road ticket booth or a Ticket Vending Machine [TVM ]for the LIRR Buy a ticket for Jamaica and a ticket for the AirTrain *Go down to the train platform below you and take the LIRR to Jamaica >usually just one stop > go upstairs and take the Airtrain to JFK http://lirr42.mta.info/DepartSchedule.as… http://www.panynj.
