Whats the biggest reaction youve ever witnessed to a film in the movie theatre?
The most amazing thing I’ve ever witnessed occurred during “The Karate Kid”. When Daniel did the Crane Kick, nearly almost all of the people leapt to their feet, cheering and applauding! I was astonished, having never witnessed such an outpouring of emotions in a movie theater. It was so spontaneous, finally bringing the rest of us to our feet, as I’m sure that others were as stunned as I was. This actually occurred each night for several nights, as I loved this movie so much that I attended 30 days straight! (Of course, back then, tickets cost much, much less than now.) I had seen “E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial” in an out-of-town theater, so I thought I knew what to expect of the audience when it finally played at the mall’s theater.
