While I should probably not admit it, I had no real idea what sulfates were (or weren’t) doing for my hair until a client asked me about the sulfate free craze and what the hype was all about. A deer-in-headlights look consumed my face as I scrambled to figure it out. Luckily my iPhone comes in handy, and I was able to give her a pretty lame answer on the fly.
