Whats the best website for buying a used car?

My experience, never deal with a used car dealer! Car dealerships have the tendency to rip people off. Its a well known practise that they buy used cars, usually at trade in prices, do some cosmetic work to it to make it look good, then add a nice little markup on it to raise their profit margin! Usually these cars will last a maximum of 3 months with normal usage, and then you face the nice little bill at the mechanics to get it going again. My advice, buy privately. Look in the local paper, in the classifieds, check out the car trader publications in your local area. The Trading Post is a wonderful weekly newspaper! Hire finance through a dealership is one of the most risky types of finance out there, and i don’t recommend it to anyone! There are plenty of used cars going for $1500 these days. With more and more new cars getting shoved onto the market, the older cars are becoming cheaper. Stay away from plastic butterboxes!
