Whats the best way to transfer money to spain?
I recently had to transfer huge amounts to Spain to buy a property there. Try Currencies Direct they offer a good service and are cheaper than the banks. www.currenciesdirect.com. No, I don’t work for them but I did use them myself. Buy any of the overseas property magazines (£3.50 tops)and you’ll see umpteen businesses offering a similar service. Phone round and compare rates. These companies don’t make a charge if you are sending large chunks. You will have to take pot luck which day to make your transfer as it is in the lap of the Gods which way the exchange rate will go.
