there is no possible way to start scrapbooking without blowing a huge budget unless you can share supplies with someone else. to start scrapbooking, it ussually costs around $50 to get started (you’ll need an album, good sissors, photocutter, acid-free double-sided tape, acid-free pens, stickers, pack of colored paper, and photos) I get my stuff from Michaels (using the 40% off coupon) or from wal-mart. Look in the sale section in Michaels as they often have really good scrapbooking stuff for cheap. Buy a couple of the ‘scrap packs’ (a variety of different sized and colored paper for prety cheap), and dont buy any stamps!!! they cost sooo much for how little you’ll use them, and you need lots of extra things. I never buy creative memories because of their really high prices for anything! Another idea is to buy the scrapbook sets where it comes with an album, paper, and stickers. These are great ways to start off!
