Whats the best way to send an Outlook contact list via email?
The simplest way to export your contact list our of Outlook is to use the Import and Export function. This function is located under the File menu. Once there, choose Export to a file. Follow it along and when you create the file, simply attach it to an email and the recipient can import it into their Outlook or another program.
In Outlook 2007, you can right-click the distribution list and choose “Send Full Contact”. In Outlook 2003, open your contacts list and drag the distribution list to the desktop. It will create a .MSG file which you can embed in an email. I don’t have any earlier versions to play with, but I suspect that latter method will work in earlier versions of Outlook as well. Good luck!
