There are a few things you need to know in order to perform the successful removal and installation of a replacement projection television lamp. DO – Use a manual Philips screwdriver. – Use a non-abrasive cloth to handle the lamp. – Clean the dust out of the lamp compartment with each lamp replacement. – Turn off the television. Allow it to cool a minimum of 30 minutes before installation. – Grab your Philips screwdriver and micro-fiber cleaning cloth and set aside. – Roll up your sleeves or wear a short-sleeved shirt. – Remove the lamp door compartment. – Insert the new lamp.
