Whats the best way to print a document in LearnJCU?
• Printing problems can arise from a combination of factors including differences in operating systems, different browser types and versions, the use of non-standard fonts, and the way the printer is set up. Probably the easiest way to avoid most of these problems is to download the document from LearnJCU, open it in the original application (eg. Microsoft Word), then print directly from the application. • If you are printing a web page or a Word document from within the browser window use the Print icon on the browser toolbar or click in the window containing the document, then press “Ctrl P” (Windows) or P (Macintosh). You may experience fewer problems printing from a current version of Internet Explorer. • If you want to print a PDF file that your a viewing within your web browser, select the Print icon from the Adobe Acrobat toolbar (just above the document) to print. Do not use your browser’s print button. Do not select print from the file menu.
