The case itself is pretty sturdy, and doesn’t need special protection. A bubble envelope should be fine. But wrap the case first in plastic wrap to keep out dust. Those bubble envelopes don’t seal totally shut. But the problem is that if you leave the disk inside the case, the disk can come loose and start moving around inside the case, possibly scratching it. So you can either take the disk out of the box and put it in a paper or plastic sleeve, you can get them at Office Depot (or Amazon), and wrap the two together. The second way is to tape the disk down inside the box. Don’t use regular adhesive tape, it will leave behind adhesive. You can use either the blue long-release masking tape from 3M or Scotch Magic Transparent Tape (also from 3M, interestingly.) Neither will leave behind adhesive when you remove them. Two pieces should be enough, at the top and bottom of the disk. Or you can just ship the case inserts and the disk, and leave the case out. Whoever gets it can use their own
