Whats the best way to improve flexibility, balance and agility?
Yoga is a good answer. The yoga tree pose and the warrior pose will both increase balance. Also performing all of the kicking techniques extremely slow, as usually associated with Tai Chi movements will increase balance and strength. Training flexibility will increase agility as well. For flexibility training, stretch all muscle groups to the furthest endurable point and hold that stretch for 2 minutes. Under 2 minutes is not increasing flexibility, just warming up the muscles. Balance is just a matter of teaching your mind how to tell you muscles what to do and teaching your muscles to do what the mind tells them. If your balance does not improve you may have an inner ear issue. With no progress in increasing balance, go get your ears checked out by a doctor. If it’s not the inner ear it could be neurological. The main thing is, if there is zero progress in getting better balance when you train for balance then you have a medical issue.
