Whats the best way to get rid of mice in the walls of my house?
I have a very old farm house, mice are a nightmare (especially this time of year). I purchased several of the High Frequency Noise things that are supposed to keep mice away, WASTE OF MONEY. Poison (very expensive and I find I need to keep changing brands as it becomes ineffective after a while) is the only thing to do! I lay plenty poison outside, well hidden away in nooks and crannies, then after about a week you will notice mice running about DRUNK. It is nearly impossible to stop them getting into old houses, but I find keeping the poison down outside certainly helps. Since the silage was cut here, I can hear 1 or 2 of them running under the floorboards through the night. Time to put down more of the blue stuff!!
