Whats the best way to create a hard-copy photography portfolio?
10 to 12 of your absolutely perfectly printed images of your best work is about right. Do not include anything that will be of no interest to the possible client … Don’t show a bunch of flower shots to a newspaper photo editor. Except for a very few subjects (maybe black and white IR shots), mount the prints on white matte board and use an artists portfolio … or slide unmounted prints into a 8×10 display book.
