Heat a pan up on the stove, when hot add diced smoked bacon, finely chopped onion, garlic and sliced mushrooms. Throw your mussels in, add white wine put the lid on. When all the mussels are open, remove from pan. Add heavy cream into the cooking liquid, reduce till thick. Pour over mussels and serve wit crusty bread.
