A. There is always a possibility that you can transmit/receive a computer virus by sharing electronic files. Make sure you protect your computer by using anti-virus software. Also, when downloading attachments, be wary of executable files (files with a .exe extension) unless you know exactly what it is. Avoid using Outlook and Outlook Express because it automatically runs viruses that may have been sent to you.
