Whats the best type of blown-in insulation, cellulose or fibreglass?
I can’t find a definitive answer anywhere. A: The two products are very close, but from the evidence I’ve seen, I prefer fibreglass by a slim margin for two reasons. Experienced insulation installers tell me it resists settling more effectively than cellulose and it doesn’t require the addition of chemical flame retardants because it’s naturally fire-resistant.
