Whats the best tool for recording telephone interviews?
I currently use my ancient Panasonic phone/answering machine with a micro-cassette to record phone interviews, then my Craig system to transcribe. I need to be able to save the recordings, but there has to be a better way now. (I’m rebuilding my freelance business after a 7 year stint in the corporate world.) And just in case this question is too easy: My new phone system is internet based, and the cable connection is two floors below my office. If that turns out to be an impossible mission, I have a workaround so all ideas will be useful. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
