Whats the best time to arrive at the airport for International flights?
Well if you’re flying out of LGA or JFK, get to the airport at least 3 hours before your flight departs. Since you really didn’t specify what time your flight is leaving, I would still get there three hours early. LGA and JFK are notorious for having all sorts of delays with airport equipment. I can remember one time taking two hours to check in with British Airways in Kennedy because the airport was having some sort of outage with their computer servers and every airline was doing manual operations which took forever!! Just to be on the safe side, give yourself plenty of time becuase unlike domestic flights, airlines usually don’t have a lot of frequencies to international destinations. Just one or two a day unless it’s one of the super popular destinations.
