Whats the best time of year to travel to Provence?
A. It depends on what kind of holiday you are looking for. June, July and August are the hottest months with temperatures high in the 20’s and 30’s. If you plan to simply relax in the hotel or your rental house this is a great time of year to visit but for touring and certainly for if you plan an active holiday, April May, September and October are the best months. Many of the smaller hotels and restaurants in the country areas close during the months of November to March so you plan to holiday during these months, your best option is a city stay, maybe including some excursions to the countryside.
